The lounge is open plan to the kitchen and
has a sofa from where you can enjoy
fantastic views of Aonach Mor, Carn Mor
Dearg, the Mammores, Glen Coe and, of
course, The Ben. There’s also a TV/DVD, CD
player with MP3 connection, a selection of
reference books, “recycled books” and DVD’s
along with a foldaway dining table and
chairs suitable for outdoor use. Once again,
this area is kept cosy by underfloor heating
throughout and has access to the sauna.
Sauna

What a great way to relax, unwind and ease
out those tired and aching muscles. A
fantastic way to recover from the worst the
Lochaber weather can throw at you. The sauna
is fully equipped with thermometer, timer,
light, bucket and ladel and, just for that
special touch, is linked to the CD/MP3
player so you can drift to your own choice
of sounds. Please note, there is a small
additional charge for the use of the sauna
and all guests should read and comply with
the Safety Operating Procedures before use.
Bedrooms

We have 2 rooms, both fitted with a double
bunk (see image above - lower)
and a single bunk (upper), sleeping 3 max. There’s
also a clothes rail, underbed storage,
hairdryer, mirror and clock, plenty of sockets
for charging your phones etc. and underfloor
heating throughout. Both rooms are en suite.
A full set of bedding and linen is provided.
Please note that Coorie Doon is a self
catering facility so we ask you to make your
own bed on arrival and to strip it on day of
departure. This helps us keep the costs
down.
Kitchen

The kitchen is open plan to the lounge and
has a ceramic hob, combi microwave / grill /
oven, kettle, toaster, fridge, crockery,
cutlery, pots & pans and cooking utensils.
There are 2 breakfast bar areas, seating 6
in total and the towel, tea towel and
washing up liquid are all provided. There’s
also tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and a
splash of milk to let you enjoy a fresh
cuppa when you arrive. Please note that
Coorie Doon is a self catering facility so
please bring your own food etc.
Drying Room & Basement Lockers

Coorie Doon has a separate, lockable Drying
Room and four basement lockers. The drying
room consists of tubular heaters, boot
racks, drying rail with hangers and drying
rail with hooks. It’s fitted with a humidity
extractor and those of you with an interest
in tides or night sky visibility might find
out Lunar Calendar of interest.
Basement lockers suitable for sea canoes,
river boats, large rucksacks, bike panniers,
skis, fishing rods etc. A deposit is
required for the key but the use of the
lockers is included in the nightly rate.
